Introducing the Lab User Role— Simplifying Lab Operations
Streamlining workflows and assigning designated roles with the right access is the key to seamless management. At 75Health, we embrace this vision by introducing an exciting new feature: Lab User.
In addition to existing roles like Admin, Doctor, and Standard User, we now offer a dedicated role tailored specifically for lab-related tasks.
The standout advantage? The Lab User can manage everything within a single platform—no need to switch between systems to view lab orders, share reports, or handle related tasks. It’s all seamlessly integrated for a smooth, hassle-free process.
In this blog, we’ll walk you through a quick guide on how to create a Lab User in the EHR and highlight the exclusive privileges this role offers. Let’s get started!
Steps to Create a Lab User:
- After logging into the EHR using the registered credentials, select the “Settings” option from the left navigation menu.
- Under the User Management section, select the “Users” option.
- In the users section, select the “Create New User” button.
- Enter the user’s first and last name and email address, select Lab Technician as the role and click the Create button.
Lab User Account Activation:
- Once the Lab User role is created in the EHR, they will receive an email invitation to activate their account.
- The Lab User simply needs to accept the invitation and follow the link provided.
- They can then set up a password to complete the activation process.
Privileges of a Lab User:
A Lab User is empowered to efficiently manage lab-related activities, including:
- Handling Lab Orders: They can accept incoming lab orders and update their status.
- Uploading Lab Reports: Completed lab order reports can be uploaded directly to the system for easy access and review.
- Billing: The Lab User can generate and send lab test billing details to the Admin.
